Selling Experience Vs Selling Expertise

Someone called me out on this and they were spot on…

when I educate I used to cut out the personal story and get to the answer

but it came off as

“you should do this” or “you should do that”

instead of

“based on my experience doing this, here’s what we did”

Slight difference yet big impact.

All of my clients hire me because of the battle scars (that turned into a track record).

Not because how much I know.
