The Nice Thing About Hard Things

What’s the “hardest” positive thing you’ve accomplished or done?

Maybe it was a project or workout, event or deadline you met.

Hard things allow you shape your character.

At firs they reveal your character, which can go either way

But after that you get to choose how you want to show up for the challenge since hard things are won over time, and usually require you to build a habit or discipline.

The nice thing about working to accomplish something hard is that it technically makes everything else you do easier

Have to have that uncomfortable conversation? No problem, you ran a 10k this morning.

You get the idea.

Even if you finished the project or milestone training

It’s good to find a way to either:

create a new milestone pushing you further

Or

set the disciplined habit you originally undertook as part of your daily routine.

As you do this, you’ll continually build the muscle of to seeing things in your routine that used to be “hard to do” as easier.
