When to Bring on Support

One key question I hear clients ask over and over again is

“at what MRR/time do I bring on this (insert key hire)?”

The answer is not a silver bullet

but here are some parameters to consider when you should bring on that role

Triggers to look for:

• when you have the foundation of your business operations designed and executing, and having you manage them is taking you away from your zone of genius and/or revenue generating activities

• when you’ve dialed in service fulfillment and adding an extra pair of hands grows your revenue by 3-5x (not just by 2x)

• when you’ve dialed in your outbound sales process and can predictably generate sales
